In the US News & World Report article "How to Tell if You Are Saving Enough for Retirement" by Emily Brandon, ACA member Connie Stone advises that individuals need to monitor their spending. She goes on to say, "Most people don't change how much they spend when they retire. Work off the scenario that you are going to spend about the same as you do now in retirement." It's so easy to become overwhelmed by the bombardment of bad news we see every day, and feel as if the little we can do can't possibly make a difference. Socially responsible investing, or SRI for short, is all about making money while making a difference.
