The ACA Success Program

Self Study

The modular self study portion of our training program grounds you in our Core Concepts, shows you how to set up your holistic financial planning practice, and guides you through each client appointment in the ACA System™. The written materials are supplemented by audio and video presentations. Learn more about the topics covered by reading the Self Study Module Outline.

Virtual Classroom

Our expert financial advisors enhance your training in our virtual classroom. Conference calls and web conferences reinforce what you're learning through self study and give you opportunities to get real-life answers to your questions.

Live Group Instruction

Practical experience is the focus of group instruction. Working through client scenarios helps build your confidence and your ability to communicate the value of your financial planning services to prospective clients, as well as preparing you to provide your current clients with superior service.

Upcoming Group Instruction Training:

  • Access our Success Program Concierge whenever necessary
  • Consult with compliance attorneys familiar with the ACA System™
  • Get advice from a seasoned marketing professional
  • Work with a mentor to ensure your first client appointments are effective and productive

Visiting Advisor Program

Spend time with other ACA members observing their office set-up and sitting in on client appointments. Our members tell us that this experience was the highlight of their training, allowing them to see the systems in practice and identify shortcuts to building their ideal financial planning practice.

Continuing Education: The Annual Conference

There is nothing quite like our Annual Conference. Our members consistently identify it as the most valuable of all they attend. We focus on the topics and issues that support your work as a holistic financial advisor with lots of time spent on sharing the Best of ACA - the best marketing strategies; practice management solutions; tax, financial planning, and investment strategies for clients; and the best idea each member put into practice in the previous year. Our Annual Conference will help you maintain and improve your skills, leading to greater success and satisfaction in your practice and your life.

2010 Annual Conference: October 20-24, 2010 in Scottsdale, AZ

  • Are you comfortable taking risks?

    September 01, 2010

Perhaps the most critical decision you can make about investment management is how much risk to take. Once you have determined an appropriate level of risk, you can start making asset allocation decisions such as the percentage of your portfolio to be held in stocks. This analysis is vital to your financial success as asset class selection is the most significant factor in investment performance.
