The ACA Success Program

Self Study

The modular self study portion of our financial planner training program grounds you in our Core Concepts, shows you how to set up an efficient holistic financial planning practice, and guides you through each client appointment in the ACA System™. The written materials are supplemented by audio and video presentations. Learn more about the topics covered by reading the Self Study Module Outline.

Virtual Classroom

Our expert financial advisors enhance your training in our virtual classroom. Live webinars reinforce what you're learning through self study and give you opportunities to get real-life answers to your questions.

Live Group Instruction

Practical application and experience is the focus of group instruction. Working through client scenarios helps build your confidence and your ability to communicate the value of your financial planning services to prospective clients, as well as preparing you to provide your current clients with superior service.

Coaching & Mentoring

Your personalized support plan will include one or more of the following:

  • Access to our Success Program Concierge whenever necessary
  • Consult with a compliance attorney familiar with the ACA System™
  • Get Clients Now! group marketing coaching
  • Online coaching for marketing plan development
  • Consult with a succession planning specialist
  • Your Ideal ACA Practice Mastermind group

In those critical first few months, our Quick Start Checklist helps you stay on track and handle all the details involved in working through the training program and setting up your holistic planning practice.

Visiting Advisor Program

Spend time with other ACA members observing their office set-up and sitting in on client appointments. Our members tell us that this experience was the highlight of their training, allowing them to see the systems in practice and identify shortcuts to building their ideal financial planning practice.

Continuing Education

The Annual ACA Conference

There is nothing quite like our annual conference. At least 70% of ACA members attend each year, offering unparalleled networking opportunities in addition to continuing education credits accepted by the CFP Board of Standards, NASBA, NAPFA and the Internal Revenue Service.  We focus on the topics and issues that support your work as a holistic financial advisor with lots of time spent on sharing the Best of ACA - such as, the best:

  • marketing strategies
  • practice management solutions
  • tax, financial planning, and investment strategies for clients
  • idea each member put into practice in the previous year

Our annual conference will help you maintain and improve your skills, leading to greater success and satisfaction in your practice and your life. The 2013 ACA Conference will be held November 6th - 9th at the Westward Look Resort in Tucson, Arizona.

All-Member Webinar Series

Offered throughout the year, these webinars cover a variety of financial planning, marketing and practice management subjects.  Many are accepted by the CFP Board of Standards, NASBA, NAPFA and/or the IRS for continuing education credits.  As a matter of fact, between the All-Member Webinar Series and the Annual ACA Conference you can fulfill your CE requirements for the CFP Board and NAPFA, and make a significant dent in your NASBA and IRS requirements.
